There’s a lot happening right now, in the world and in my life, and one of the most exciting—and stressful—thing is that I’m writing again. On my own. I’m superstitious and don’t like talking about what I’m doing lest I jinx myself. What I can say though, is that I hope this WIP will work out and that I can release it in 2026. It couldn’t be more different from The Milkyway Hotel. I loved writing this sweet romance, all the more so as I got to write it with the love of my life, but the story that’s been bubbling in my brain for a while is a lot darker. Think dystopia, cyberpunk dark. And yes, there’s romance, since, to quote my darling Marguerite, “l’amour triomphe de tout”, love overcomes everything.
I have an outline, I have the epigraph, I have a tentative title, I have a playlist. All that’s left to do is write it, and as terrifying as it sounds, I’m very much looking forward to diving in more deeply. Stay tuned.
