This review will be short because there isn’t a lot I can say about it that I didn’t already write about the first book, Finding Faith. The relationship between Faith and Kalili is growing stronger and stronger and they’re both hot and cute together. And so so powerful, as they’re getting to realize. I can’t wait to be able to listen to book 3, Keeping Faith, and in the meantime, I still have the novella Faith and Kalili Go to Rome on my TBR/L.
I am once again impressed with the narration. Marie Bishop doesn’t read, she acts. It may be a little over the top at times but it fits the story very well. What could be more over the top than an angel and a demon falling in love and fighting a conspiracy of the highest beings?
To be honest, I may have underrated the first book. Maybe because it included too much straight sex for a sapphic romance. Maybe because the rating system is fundamentally flawed. Maybe because it’s such a light and fun read that I underestimated it. So maybe I’ll overrate this one. Ratings suck anyway, you can’t fit what a book makes you feel in a few stars. Whether I give the books in this series four or five stars, I recommend them wholeheartedly, especially if you’re looking for a light and fun time with characters you’ll want to root for, a lot of humour, steam and tenderness in equal measure, and, as I’ve already said, a fantastic narration.

Woohoo!! I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed this one. I personally loved recording it, though I have to admit I have a special place in my heart for Kalili and Faith’s story (They remind me too much of my own partner and myself XD). Regardless, thank you for taking the time to write review!
